About GFA IMPLANT
The GFA (Gingival Former Abutment) used and implement with a submerged, subcrest a lly placed, implant can be considered as a transmucosal implant. A one time abutment protocol that avoid peri implant crestal resorption and improves soft tissue stability at the implant abutment interface. Once the gingival height has been determined, the GFA component can be fitted without removing it until delivery of the definitive prosthetic component.
